Great coffee, cozy little restaurant. Food is great and affordable. Definitely a mom and pop shop feel. Joe is a great host and likes to get to know his customers. The decorations are very unique, im not going to explain them just go there. The only thing I don't like is the menu is huge to many choices my head was spinning. But i do like that the menu looks like a newspaper.

Our absolute favorite restaurant in upper Michigan. We make the drive from northern Indiana every year on vacation and stop in multiple times. The staff and food are amazing! It's small, but doesn't feel cramped. They close for a few hours in the afternoon, but we work around it. They even let us stay past closing to finish our meal on the first visit, without rushing us out. If you stop in when the weather is nice, be sure to sit out on the back section. You get a nice breeze blowing through the windows. If the parking lot is full, park next door and walk across. It'll be well worth it!

Quaint place with so much charm. Have visited twice now and would continue to go back. The menu is this cute this newspaper and there are so many creative items to order. I'm a big fan of the pancakes (really any of them) and the coffee is great too. Staff is really cool and there's some awesome artwork on the outside of the building. If you park at the hotel and walk over, be sure to look at the south side of the building and the back.

We visited this little Cafe and saw a sign that said Hippies use Back Entrance - so we did! It was the weekend after Labor Day and they were very busy! We know why they were busy - the best breakfast we ever had for the most reasonable prices - a husband and wife team serving it up hot and tasty! A beautifully decorated restaurant with pottery lining the walls. Friendly folks all around us. We will definitely return!

Super friendly people with Joe himself making the rounds to greet everyone! Be prepared to wait a bit for your food while you enjoy fresh brew or a fresh pot of tea. Delicious home cooked food is worth the wait. Funky tea pots and coffee mugs for sale. Great atmosphere!
