Wouldn't even give one star but had too. Dr. Gunnell is one of the worse Doctors I have seen. He never listens to problems and just makes his own opinions, which are usually wrong. I seen him for neck, shoulders and back problems. He told me I was making it up and wouldn't even take time. Told me other Doctors would run from me. So I went to a real Doctor to find out after a few MRIs I had bulging disks and other damaged disks and needed to be referred to a neck surgeon and my lower back had deterioration. With a few other issues as well. My opinion, this Doctor Gunnell is no good and needs to give up his practice and let a real Doctor take over.
Couldn't be happier with the service we got when my wife was sick and we took her to the walk-in-clinic here on a Saturday! We were seen quicker than I've ever experienced at any other hospital, diagnosed, treated with a breathing treatment and shots, and out the door in under 45 minutes...and feeling better I may add!
They do not consider your monthly payment as part of a payment plan. According to the law, if you send a payment every month- you ARE paying on your bill. Be very wary as they will send it to a collection agency if you do not agree to their terms. If it happens, you can call the Attorney General's office and report it, along with the BBB.
I was up from down state to do the St Ignace craft show and the Mackinac Bridge walk. I became ill and went to the ER at 4 a.m. The staff was all so nice to me and treated me with care and concern. Thank you so much!
Their billing system is not set up for the average user. Each visit may be on one bill under different numbers. They expect you to pay on all of them. To do that you have to mark the box on each one and enter an amount. They do not take your payment and apply it to the visit that was furthest out as most other places do. Even if you send a payment every month, they will call you and tell you "You HAVE to enter into a payment plan."
