This hotel was perfect for our needs. It was quiet, quaint, and right on the water. We listened to the waves to fall asleep to and the sunrise to wake up to. They had a nice well prepared continental breakfast.
Our hotel of choice for our annual family vacation. Rooms have all been updated with local photography and soothing colors. Except for family suites, all rooms face the water and can see Mackinac Island. The staff is phenomenal (especially Samantha is housekeeping and Paula at the front desk).
This is an excellent spot to get away. The rooms are ultra comfortable with a spectacular view of lake Michigan. The staff goes the extra mile to make your stay better. Awesome!
Rooms are nice and have a view but the balcony areas do NOT get cleaned. Spiders, webs and feathers everywhere.. The housekeepers even left a envelope in our room to leave a tip for their services.. At least leave us a broom and I would have swept it myself. Pool was warm and there is free breakfast. Overall I would have rather stayed at a Holiday Inn.
Nice and comfortable. Our room appeared to be recently upgraded and had a sign saying the beds were new. We had a lake view room with a nice view, a small refrigerator and coffeemaker. Most rooms we stay in only have one comfy chair and a desk. This room had 2 comfy chairs amd a square table. There were also 2 lawn chairs and a table on the deck which made for a great spot to just sit and watch the water. Would definitely stay here again!
