Short hike up to a nice vista, bring bug spray. Large gift shop at the base and a statue of Paul Bunyan.

This place is awesome. Great view of the area from a wonderful vantage point. Lots of stairs to climb but if you can make it, well worth the walk.
It's a quick easy stop for young children. The steps are a little steep and slanted in areas. I was carrying a newborn baby in a wrap and felt uneasy on the way back down. The view was beautiful. It isn't the most amazing place in Michigan, but worth it for a nice view and some exercise for only $1. The gift shop was nice as well.
Great view. Fun activity for the kids. Well worth the $1 per person. The gift shop had some very cool stuff with reasonable prices.
